via donau still holds the lead for expert opinions on Danube-related logistics issues

This increase above average in the number of inquiries can be traced back to the increasing significance of inland navigation and the intensified promotion campaign of via donau - among others at the common Danube stand in June 2007 in Munich for the transport logistic 07 as well as on the new website Transport development: » http://www.donauschifffahrt.info   

While 2/3 of the requests came from logistics and shipping companies, the remaining inquires stemmed from training institutes, public authorities, consultants, students and private persons. The majority of the inquiries - 38 % - did come from Austria, yet the German demand was also high amounting to 30% of the total queries. The remaining requests came from 25 different countries ranging from Australia to the United States.  

via donau is proud to be acknowledged as a competent contact point for logistics inquiries pertaining to the Danube but also to be perceived as a junction between users and suppliers for consulting matters where objectivity and absence of bias are core values.
